About Texas In July
Texas in July was an American metalcore band from Ephrata, Pennsylvania, established in 2007. They put out an EP “Salt of the Earth” and their first full-length album “I Am” through CI Records. Upon signing with Equal Vision Records, they released three more studio albums: “One Reality” on April 26, 2011, a self-titled album on October 9, 2012, and “Bloodwork” on September 16, 2014. The band dissolved in 2015. Afterward, JT Cavey joined Erra, and Chris Davis joined The Ghost Inside.
About Invent Animate
The American progressive metalcore band, Invent Animate (previously stylized as Invent, Animate), formed in late 2011. Moreover, the band self-released their debut EP titled Waves on March 13, 2012. Additionally, Tragic Hero Records signed them up in February 2014. However, in 2021, the band announced that they had left Tragic Hero Records and signed with UNFD.
In early December 2021, the band clarified that Trey Celaya, who had previously toured with them, would no longer be their regular touring drummer but would still be involved in the songwriting and recording process. Instead, he had joined fellow Texan metalcore band Fit for a King as their full-time drummer, after the departure of founding and long-time member Jared Easterling.
In early February, the band announced that they had been working on recording their next album, a follow-up to Greyview, with a tentative release date in the spring of 2022. Additionally, they had enlisted Landon Tewers, frontman of The Plot in You, to assist with the vocal production of the upcoming album.
About To The Wind
To The Wind is a hardcore punk band from Seattle, Washington, formed in 2008. They gained attention in the underground music scene with their EP “No More Than This” which they self-released in 2010. The band’s music is characterized by heavy guitar riffs, aggressive drumming, and passionate vocals that blend melodic and hardcore elements.
To The Wind signed with Pure Noise Records in 2013 and released their debut full-length album, “Empty Eyes,” which was followed by “Block Out The Sun & Sleep” in 2014. Their third album, “The Brighter View,” was released in 2016 and showcased the band’s evolving sound, incorporating more clean singing and atmospheric elements.
Throughout their career, To The Wind toured extensively, sharing the stage with bands such as Stick To Your Guns, Counterparts, and Being As An Ocean. Despite their success, the band announced their breakup in 2018, playing their final show in Seattle. To The Wind left a lasting impact on the hardcore punk scene with their intense live performances and emotionally charged music.
