About William Control

William Control is an American electronic music project founded in Seattle, Washington in 2008. It was originally a side project of Aiden’s William Francis, who later operated as William Control full-time. William Control refers both to the band and to Francis’ stage name. Victory Records signed Francis; however, he eventually started his own label, Control Records.

William Control has released 5 full-length albums, an EP, 2 acoustic albums, 2 live DVDs, and a remix album. The band released the album “Revelations” in 4 separate EPs, with the first part, “The Pale,” released in 2016. “The Black” and “The Red” came in 2017, and followed finally with “The White.” The original name of the band was “The Neuromantic Boys” with Francis and members Kenneth Fletcher and Ian MacWilliams, with Crilly Ashes standing in for Fletcher during some live shows. In 2017, Control announced retirement from music and touring to focus on his clothing businesses and record label, but temporarily ceased work in 2018 due to allegations of sexual assault and the formation of a “sex cult.”
